simpleSiteSearch is a Java applet to search the documents in the site where the applet is installed. You can use this applet to search all of my pages in this Geocities site. GO.Usage

- If you are a Netscape User please read Instructions for Netscape Users.
- The documents that are given access to be searched are listed in a text file, ssSearch.txt. This applet can only search documents that are at or below the baseURL of the document containing the applet.
- The search is case-insesitive and part of a word can be used in the search.
- When the search string is enclosed in double-quotes the search is case-sensitive.
- The applet supports two-word searches when they are separated by a comma. The applet does not support a comma in the search word itself.
- Some examples for search strings in the current demo are:
- large
- "LARGE"
- image,search
- "TOC",search
- At the end of the search URLs of the documents containing the keyword/s will be displayed which can then be single-clicked to access the document page.
- The name of the target frame can be specified through the applet param "TARGETFRAME".
- This applet does not parse html tags and treats all documents as simple text files.
